Coffee Processing and Warehouse Enterprise (CPWE) is government owned development Enterprise established in the year 1994 with the purpose of processing and storing coffee that come from coffee growing areas of the country, mainly aiming at the enhancement of washed coffee export.  The enterprise started export of green coffee beans in 2009 in response to the growing stiff competition for provision of coffee warehouse and processing services in the country.

CPWE’s mission is to provide enhancement of people’s lives and guarantee our customers consistent and high quality services and products supported by efficient, customer focused, friendly and professional services. Our commitment to our customers and our homeland, Ethiopia, will be reflected through honest and responsible business.

Our enterprise is run and managed by teams who have more than 100 years of combined experience in coffee processing, exporting and international marketing business. And this has enabled the enterprise to register relatively high performance record for the past 16 years.

CPWE is a well structured organization. It is organized into three main functional areas: Product sourcing, quality control, sales and marketing; processing and warehousing; and administration and finance. It has 359 permanent employees and over 500 casual laborers.
